Job Title: Accountant III

This professional accountant handles the designated area of duty while maintaining the company’s overall ledger. In order to respond to financial inquiries and offer guidance on appropriate accounting, she or he works closely with internal clients throughout the entire firm. In addition to creating new reports in response to continuing business requirements, this person plays a significant role in the compilation of financial statements. An experienced professional, the accountant conducts accounting research and analysis, reviews and interprets historical transactional activity, and plays a crucial part in the month-end and year-end close process, which includes preparing or reviewing account reconciliations. They also use their advanced knowledge of internal financial systems, GAAP, and other accounting standards. At this stage in their career, the incumbent typically possesses competence in many finance areas and may be asked to mentor or supervise junior accounting staff members.

  • Serves internal customers by using independent judgment to respond to inquiries about financial reporting, clarify accounting concepts, offer guidance on accurate transaction recording, and notify others of financial rules and processes. collaborators in resolving procedural and technological problems.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert for the financial general ledger system of the company, covering its segments, fund balances, functional allocation, chart of accounts, and other features.
  • Prepares and/or reviews important journal entries and account reconciliations to maintain monthly/annual financial closing procedures. Examines financial activities for mistakes or misclassifications and makes necessary corrections. also creates and disseminates financial statement reports and offers extra report-related data so that decisions and relevant actions may be made.
  • Attends training sessions and/or uses other resources to keep up a level of expertise and/or certifications necessary to fulfill all job requirements.
  • Uses suitable opportunities to impart accounting ideas and their organizational application to other team members and internal clients.
  • May be asked to supervise or coach junior accounting staff members’ work and, if necessary, interact with other team members to coordinate tasks.

  • Bachelor of Science in a relevant discipline.


– Seven years of relevant experience gained in this field or one similar.

Certifications and Licenses:

Certification in a related profession from an organization with national or international recognition.

Office: Conventional Office Space.

Physical Requirements:
Eight hours a day, either standing, sitting, or walking.

Requirements for Travel:
